Can i put a two year old guinea pig with two babies?

I had two two year old guinea pigs but unfortunately one of them ped away this morning the other seems down and doesn't really seem to be eating or drinking much, i think she is very upset because they were very close. now tomorow morning my pet shop, will have a selection of about 20 new babies, i was thinking of getting one for her because her hutch is big enough for about 8 piggies and i think it would get very lonely on her own, i also thought if i got two babies then they could keep each other company, if the two year old didnt really bond. should i get one baby? should i get two babies? would the two year old only take one under her wing, should i wait a week? please help. xx
