Why do Christians wear ties ans suit when they are churches?

Dressing nice is a sign of reverence. I see plenty of people in church in just khaki pants and a polo, and that's just fine, as long as it's not disrespectful, and unless what you are wearing is offensive, you aren't going to get kicked out of most churches for not wearing a suit and tie
