Feral kitten found, need advice?

I found a very dehydrated skinny little kitten yesterday in the parking lot and promptly took him to the vet where he was de-wormed and given fluids. WOW, that is a tough question! I think that it all depends on the person your sister is. What I mean for example is say your best friends b-day is coming up and she keeps bringing up the fact she doesn't want you to throw her a party because she doesn't want you to "go all out". But then when her day gets here and you didn't throw her one she gets all mad about it, saying that you should not have listened to her, my best friend would do that! Anyways- I would throw her some type of shower if I were you, let the guests know that gifts are optional but their attendance is requested just to let the Bride and groom know that they are loved and cherished. Maybe throw a them a BBQ (if that's something you guys like to do) and invite everyone that is invited to the wedding. Just tell them to bring their favorite dish, and explain to them the bride and groom's wishes (about the no gift thing). Then if they still choose to bring gifts then it will be on them. I do not think that your sister will be mad at you not following her wishes, but she will be glad that you didn't go all out and do something huge and unwanted behind her back.

Well i'm 19 years old, my parents are divorced. My father left me when I was about 5, and we have had a distant relationship ever since. I went nine years without seeing him because he moved far away with his new wife. We continued to speak over the phone, and he told me he loved me but could not deal with his life, my mother, and living in my house, and had to leave. When I was 16, he moved back here, and he had come back with a 2 month old daughter, and he had told me that his wife went back to Ukraine, but is coming back soon. Over time (3 years), his wife never came back, and now my father is in the hospital because of liver failure. He thinks he is going to die, and so do the doctors. If he dies, His daughter will go to me, and I will be her legal guardian. My fathers condition is bad, and he will most likely die within the next few days unless he suddenly progresses, but that is not likely. How can I get rid of his daughter? I don't want her and don't know what my options are.

I am only fifteen and admittedly dyed my hair light and dark brown, jet black, ginger, cosmic blue several times, bleached it twice, pink and purple already. I used to use straighteners every day, even when i wasn't going out, because stupidly, i cared what i looked like way too much. But now i haven't dyed my hair for at least five months and i barely straighten it. The last colour i dyed it was a permanent cosmic blue (which is black with a tint of blue if anyone was unaware) which seems to like to stick to my hair and it has faded a bit since then, it is currently a dark brownish colour. I have naturally blond hair and my roots have came through the colour I want my hair to be. Wow. Sports are fun. There is contact, but if you are wearing proper equipment then 999 times out of 1000 you will be fine. If you're going to say it's too dangerous, statistically driving is WAY more danerous, but why would we make driving illegal? It would be stupid, and so would making sports illegal.

Railroad Gate Crossing/Detection Question?

For several months, I noticed from time to time that there would be burt out flares that had been placed directly on top of the rail road crossings in my area (Valrico Fl - CSX). Finally, one day I saw one that was still burning so I started driving from crossing to crossing. I came across a train that was going about 5mph. At each and every crossing, the train would pull to within about 10 feet of the signal but would not activate it. One of the guys would get out a flag the traffic to a stop and the other would drive the train through. This was a normal looking train with 2 modern 6 axles engines. Out of curiousity, I waited around about 20 minutes for the next train to see if it activated the crossings like normal, which it did. I thought the gates work on electrical resistance, but I don't get why this and at least a few other trains would not have activated them. Are they RF now or something?

My Dad majorly favors my younger brother?

General boating question?

I own one of those styrofoam sailboats which I recently fibergled and enjoy sailing a lot. Many times, when a motor boat nearby, especially a large boat starts up it's motor or revves to full power, I am able to hear a hissing sound that seems to eminate from the water and through the hull of my boat. To get the same ratio (gearing) accurately count the number of teeth on the pinion (small gear on shaft) and the teeth on the big ring. Taking an accurate measurement of the ring outer diameter will help too. You can find replacements in a truck magazine or website. You might want to have a shop do the work. I think what has been lost (particularly in the last 30 years) is a sense of collective responsibility. I think a genuine empathy for other human beings (not in our family or country for instance) has been an unfortunate casualty that came with capitalism and a general shift to the "right". I think a more socialist agenda is the answer. With the most important issue of our time (the environment/global warming) I do see a more socialistic response. Regardless of color, race, socio-economic cirstance etc it is a problem for us all. People claim that prices have risen due to the cost of the essential commodities, like br, lead and copper. But look at shot shells. A 12 ga shell holds a similar amount of br as a .223 casing, it has 3-4 times the amount of powder, and it has 9 times the amount of lead. Sure, shot shells have no copper, but the amount of copper in a .223 jacket is less than the amount found in a penny. But somehow a single .223 round is 40-50 cents while a single shot shell is 20-25 cents. When I started shooting 3 years ago, 9mm was 5 or so a box, it’s now 12 a box. .45 ACP was 8 a box, it’s now 20 a box. 12 ga field loads were 4 a box, they’re now 5. What’s up with that? Why does WMP 11 (Windows Media Player) not import my songs id3 tag info correctly?

I've used Itunes forever but got a new MP3 player and since Itunes only works with Ipods, I decided to switch to WMP. When WMP searches my computer for music and media, some folders (such as my Gomez music folder) is imported as "unknown artist/genre/album" and the only thing correctly imported is the name of the songs. So when I search WMP for "Gomez" it is no where to be found, but the song is there. If I search for "unknown" I cannot view all the files that were imported that way. If I search for the name of the song, I can view it and play it. Itunes correctly views my Gomez files, but WMP does not. A fix for this? Or is there a hack to use other MP3 players with Itunes?

DOCTORS: Can I take Yasmin (birth control), Accutane (acne), & Topamax (for weight loss) at the same time?

I have really bad acne, so I would like to take Accutane to clear my acne. I have already been prescribed the medication by my dermatologist but I also have to take Yasmin, a birth control medication while taking Accutane. I am taking Ocella (generic Yasmin) Birth Control Pills, and Lamictal, can I take diet pills?

Ok, I have gained about 10 pounds recently due to Lexapro (which I am off) and Ocella. I think Ocella is the culprit.
