Do Most Conservatives Agree with This Editorial About Reagan?

I'm a little confused what is defined by a conservative. I truly don't know what that means. It just sounds like people watch to much of that what goes by as news on TV these days Reagan talked about cutting spending , he had some good "one liners about it too". But he never actually cut government spending and neither has any president after him. Reagan did cut taxes as it stated that is true. He increased military spending greatly at the same time. Lets see more spending, no cuts, sound farmilar They had a name for his economic plan "voodoo economics" or trickle down economics, you take your pick but nothing trickled down over 30 years except huge debt, personal and public. With more debt and compounding of interest on that debt, here we are today ping it on to our kids and there kids. We are not just as a nation financially, but morally bankrupt as well. So I will p on a Ronald Reagan or any President after him. I fear there isn't a right one out there. .
