Can I use a changer cable to hook up CD changer?

I have a sony cdx-424rf without a controller. The controller is usually hooked to a power box with the out cables then wired into the radio. My JVC radio has the cable for direct hook up so no power box needed and has CD changer hook up, so can I use a Bus AI-Net cable to hook up unit to back of JVC unit to control it using stereo ons?
